What Causes Bad Sector?

On the Windows Operating System, there is a built-in feature/tool ​​from windows called "Chkdsk" whose function is to find errors on the hard disk after which logical errors will be corrected. In addition, Chkdsk can detect and mark Bad Sector, so that the Windows Operating System no longer uses them.


To get into this tool itself is very easy, my friend only needs:


  • Go to My Computer, after that, my friend, Right Click on which hard disk partition you want to check, for example, C, D, or E.
  • After that a menu will appear, please select Properties.
  • Next, the Properties dialog box will appear. Above there is a menu, you can choose Tools to enter the Chkdsk Tools.
  • There you will see the words Check, next to which there is a shield logo.
  • Click the Check.
